Don Rico Reposado is a small-batch, additive-free tequila produced from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from both the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. Traditional production methods—including slow cooking in brick ovens, roller mill extraction, open-air fermentation with proprietary agave yeast, and double distillation—create a tequila that preserves the natural character of agave while developing additional complexity through barrel aging. The tequila is matured in American oak bourbon barrels, allowing notes of vanilla, caramel, baking spice, and toasted oak to complement the vibrant cooked agave profile. Produced without additives, Don Rico Reposado reflects the brand’s commitment to authentic craftsmanship, premium ingredients, and traditional tequila-making techniques.

How It’s Made
Origin
Distilled at NOM 1608 in Central Jalisco, Mexico. Agave grown in Jalisco.
Cooking & Fermentation
Slow-roasted in traditional masonry ovens. Juice separated by mechanical roller mill. Drawn from a deep on-site well. Fermented in the open air in stainless-steel tanks on agave sugars alone, the agave fibers separated out beforehand.
Distillation & Maturation
Twice distilled. Distilled in stainless-steel pot stills fitted with a copper condensing coil. Bottled at 40% abv.
