Overview
Wild Common Blanco is an additive-free tequila produced at Cascahuín Distillery (NOM 1123) in El Arenal, Jalisco, in collaboration with the Rosales family. Made from mature Blue Weber agave grown in the Los Valles region, it is crafted to showcase the purity and natural complexity of agave through traditional production methods and minimal intervention.
The agaves are cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens before a combination of tahona and roller mill extraction. Fermentation is conducted in open-air stainless steel and cement tanks using both fiber-on and fiber-off methods, followed by double distillation in copper pot stills. Rather than being barrel aged, the tequila is rested in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling, allowing the spirit to integrate while preserving its bright agave character. Bottled at 42% ABV (84 proof) and produced without additives, Wild Common Blanco delivers a vibrant, balanced expression with exceptional depth and texture.
