Overview
Additive-free joven tequila produced at NOM 1414 by blending unaged and barrel-aged tequila to create a balanced expression of agave and oak.
General Gorostieta Joven is an additive-free tequila produced at NOM 1414 from mature Blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco. The agaves are cooked in traditional masonry ovens, roller-milled for extraction, fermented in stainless steel tanks using champagne yeast and classical music, double distilled in copper pot stills, and crafted as a joven expression incorporating tequila matured in used American white oak barrels. Bottled at 40% ABV.
